  My family and I, as well as many friends and neighbors, frequent the Wendys at the Manasquan location at least 6 times per week through the drive thru. We have been frequenting the Manasquan location since it opened. We used to frequent the Wall Wendys, but do to the lack of understanding of the English language by its employees, the incorrect (short) orders, the nasty attitude of the manager and the downright curtness at that location, since the former manager (Dave) left, we now frequent the Manasquan location. At Wendys-Manasquan, the staff is always smiling, happy, helpful, takes the time to wait on the customers, with patience, and the orders are always correct. Janet, the manager at this location, is always on top of things which are truly evident through the work of her employees, especially Michael, who is also always smiling, always helpful and cheerful. Unfortunately, yesterday, September 17, 2015, I was waited on by Jessica, an apparent transfer from the Wall location – which was clearly evident when she took my order at the drive-thru. She was curt, apparently did not hear my order the first time and shouted at me “WHAT?!” I have never, except in Wall, been treated like this at the Manasquan Wendys. I repeated my order and Jessica did not say thank you or “please drive up” all she did was shout at me “alright”. Jessica was so nasty, so unprofessional and downright condescending. I was relaying this incident to some neighbors this morning, and they, too, were treated yesterday with the same type of disrespect from Jessica. I have been a local resident in this area for over 21 years. I have been frequenting Wendys since I relocated here. The Wall Wendys was wonderful under the former manager’s supervision (Dave); however, since he left the locals have left the Wall Wendys to the summer bennies year round due to the rudeness encountered there. It is our sincere hope that this “Jessica” employee either be returned to the Wall Wendys where she belongs or removed from the company. We are sure that the Wendys company does not want the “Jessicas” of the world representing them and portraying their company in such a negative manner; rather, the Wendys company would be delighted to have the “Janets” and the “Michaels” represent them.
